A few days passed after the burning of the pub. Experiment 2.0 had no worries related to Experiment 4.0, absolutely certain of his destruction, the villains, Shimmer, 3.0 and Blind Messenger, were plotting again, this time trying to figure out how to place resistances to EVERYTHING that could possibly harm another assassin bot, but this would fail, and 4.0 lay powerless in Perez Park lake/swamp.
He lay on the bottom of one of the small streams in the woods, hidden from view. No young heroes dared enter the part of the forest he was in, and no higher heroes had enough spare time to go exploring this area. He was practically invisible.
However, one being noticed him. His advanced scanners had needed a test, and what more secluded area than Perez? Closed off from the public. few heroes had the ability to fly and would, therefore never reach his ship, and the Hydra were too dumb on their own to discover his minions.
His name was Soul Drainer- A villain of great renown, he was on a level of genius equaling, if not surpassing, Dr. Shimmer. He had built robots with far advanced tech beyond Shimmer's own, as well as taking advantage of mass production facilities to mass produce said robots. He had an army matching that of a small country. He was also braver than the doctor- He rushed into battle with his 'troops,' equipped with a blaster rifle, grenades, devices, and even a multitude of other weapons, including a requisitioned Nemesis staff, an axe, and a Rikti War Blade.
He had been testing his newly developed scanning technology when it discovered an unknown anomaly- Not Hydra, nor anything of its kin. No, this was a metal being. It had no power reserves for its even most basic functions, but it was there, huge, and just waiting to be scavenged.
Soul Drainer, his red and black technologically corrupted battle armour already covering his body, moved to the control panel of his bridge. "Scout units one, two and three," he said into the microphone, eliciting beeps of confirmation from the units, "Recover the anomaly at the coordinates I am sending you. Once you have it, return to base. We're almost done here."
The units found Experiment 4.0 with very little problem, and returned to the ship.
Drainer had never seen a machine like the one they had recovered. It was injured, yes, lacking an arm, and it was covered in muck and grime and weeds, but just at his first glance, he knew it was well-built. He decided then and there to clean it up, rebuild it... And advance it to its maximum capabilities. Whatever this thing was, it would be a match for thirty of his drones, and he fully intended to have it on his side.
